You’ve asked me all the questions regarding the cost, deadlines, location etc. We’ve set on a photo style you prefer. Now it’s time to prepare for the photoshoot. Here you can find some general tips on how to make yourself look better, and my life easier.

Planning a photoshoot can take weeks, even months. But the more time you have the less stressed you will be on the day of the session. My job is not just to show you your own beauty, but also to make the photoshoot fun, relaxing experience. You can help me out by being ready for the session.

Here is what you can do:

• Prepare the clothes you like and try to coordinate the outfits with another person (if it’s a family or a group shot). Make it your own. Don’t try to be someone else, it will show, and you might not like it.
• Get your hair ready (think of a style; get a haircut – 2 weeks ahead for women (in case if it goes wrong, so you will have time to grow your hair back), and 1-2 days before the shoot for men).
• Get your face ready (ladies, make sure NOT to have a facial done the day before the shoot and moisturize your skin starting a week prior to the photoshoot to avoid dryness; gentlemen – freshly shaved clean face or a taken care of beard always looks great). Also ladies – make sure to bring the make-up you think you might need for touch-ups.
• Get your clothes photo-ready – iron the night before, and if it wrinkles easily do not wear it on the car. Bring it with you. As for the shoes – for the men – clean shoes are a must. Ladies – make sure to bring shoes you’d be able to stand and possibly walk in.

What to wear? What not to wear?

• Usually ladies (and, of course, some gents) have a good sense of fashion or at least know what looks good on them. But if I may – a little piece of advise – dress for the shot you want to get. Meaning that if you are for a business photo – dress formal (unless it’s a creative business portrait). Wear smth you feel comfortable and pretty in. And if you are not too sure what to wear – select a few pieces and we will brainstorm it, and find the best ones together!
